1. Overwhelmed Pump – If your current sump pump is not the right size for your home, it might not be able to handle high volumes of water. This especially evident when we experience heavy rainfalls in short amounts of time. In these instances the overwhelmed sump pumps system can leave you with a flooded basement. 2. Pump Burnout – A sump pump system burnout can occur because of a faulty float switch or an overworked, underpowered pump. We recommend that you have your pump inspected annually so that we may get ahead of burnout.
